I was totally inspired to shoot this video after seeing a video by Aja Dang doing this with her boyfriend. So thank you for the inspo Aja!
For most of you all that know, Andrew and I had a huge goal of working towards being debt-free as a unit and have been familiar with Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover. We are now almost there! I remember listening to Dave Ramsey's podcasts together and listening to all the debt free screams. It always gave me chills!
Since being together, money has definitely been something we have put a lot of effort to get on the same page. We have totally different perspectives on money and being able to talk about it in a healthy way has helped us understand each other in so many ways! I think this questionnaire is a fun way to have an open conversation with your significant other, whether you've never opened up about it before, or if money is a comfortable topic of conversation.
Last year we told ourselves that we were going to do Financial Peace University and we went through the course this year finishing it right when the pandemic hit. We were soooooo fortunate that we had decided to embark on this journey before these uncertain times happened, placing us in a better financial position than where we were previously.
The purpose of this is to just inspire anyone out there to have a conversation around money and share our different perspectives on money.
